Profile
Leo is a patent agent with a Doctorate in Engineering from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Beihang University, majoring in Materials Processing. He has previously served as a Senior Examiner at the Patent Examination Cooperation Beijing Center of the National Intellectual Property Administration. His expertise spans both deep technical knowledge and extensive experience in patent application, invalidation, reexamination, as well as patent search and analysis. During his tenure as a patent examiner, he handled over 500 substantive examinations of inventions and more than 1000 initial examinations of utility models. He also served as a reexamination officer and reviewer for utility model evaluation reports, and has published and written three academic papers related to intellectual property. In 2019, Mr. Liu joined Kangxin, where he currently serves as the Director of Intellectual Property Consulting Projects. His work primarily involves intellectual property risk due diligence, patent analysis, patent mining and layout, and patent risk screening. While working at Kangxin, he has published several academic articles in well-known intellectual property journals in China.
