In celebration of World Intellectual Property Day on April 26th, Kagxin partner Ms Gloria Wu led a presentation on intellectual property at Beijing Foreign Studies University School of Law to increase awareness of intellectual property protections, to improve establishment of strong IP rights in China, and to introduce students to IP and encourage them to innovate.
Ms Gloria Wu prepared a presentation detailing the IP industry from a lawyer's point of view, drawing on her many years of practical experience and the challenges she has encountered as an IP lawyer. To demonstrate the life of an IP lawyer to future graduates, the class participated in a “Workplace experience” activity, where students' questions were answered in-depth, preparing them for a career in IP law.
This was not the first time Kangxin has cooperated with Beijing Foreign Studies University School of Law; for many years, Kangxin has helped BFSU organize Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. It is our hope that this cooperation allows students who aspire to enter a profession in IP law gain a deeper understanding of their future career.
Kangxin has always supported universities like Peking University, Chinese University of Politics and Law, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Dalian Maritime University with scholarships; we pay close to attention to imparting our knowledge to university students and hope to work together with universities to combine our strengths and develop China's intellectual property industry.
