Recently, the Training Course on Data Intellectual Property Operation and Financial Innovation—hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Intellectual Property Administration and co-organized by the Jiulongpo District Intellectual Property Administration of Chongqing and others—was successfully held.

    The program aims to implement the requirements of the Special Action Plan for Patent Commercialization and Utilization (2023–2025) and Chongqing’s 14th Five-Year Plan for Intellectual Property Protection and Utilization, addressing enterprise pain points such as difficulties in confirming rights to data assets, weak operational capacity, and narrow financing channels. The event drew more than 120 participants from enterprises, IP service providers, financial institutions, and district/county IP authorities, achieving precise coverage of stakeholders across the full chain of data intellectual property.

    Leaders from the Jiulongpo District Intellectual Property Administration and the Municipal Intellectual Property Protection Center attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks. During the course, experts delivered lectures on topics including the construction of rules for data intellectual property, rights confirmation, valuation, registration practices, and IP pledge financing.

    In addition, a field-teaching segment was specially arranged. Participants visited enterprises for on-site instruction, where experts provided one-on-one guidance to address corporate IP questions through a combination of case analysis and interactive Q&A, effectively enhancing trainees’ capabilities in data IP operations and financing alignment.

    The training helped enterprises map solutions aligning data intellectual property with market demand, master methods for valuing data assets and procedures for applying for financial products, and effectively meet their learning needs in the field of data IP. It also helped resolve challenges in data rights confirmation, asset operation, and financing matchmaking, providing strong support and assurance for enterprise development.
