Profile
Ms. Chen received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Peking University in the year 2004. When she was in the university, she worked in the Green Catalysis Laboratory for about 2 years. During the researches, she synthesized different kinds of new π-acceptor ligand ionic liquids and characterized them with kinds of chemical equipments such as HPLC, LC, GC, etc.
Later, Ms. Chen received her Doctor’s degree in Genetics from CAS in the year 2010. Before the graduation, she worked in the State Key Laboratory of Plant Genomics for about 6 years. She is familiar with using the biological techniques such like clone, construction, site mutation and RNAi in plant materials. She and co-workers identified that some target genes of rice siRNAs playing important roles in rice polarity foundations and development. Their study was published in the journal “THE PLANT CELL”.
After graduation, Ms. Chen joined an agriculture company as technical supporter. She leaded a technical service team having more than 10 members for over 2 years and provided technical service for more than 30 universities and research institutes. She and the co-workers mainly focus on genetic transformation of some crops plants, especially the rice and maize.
Ms. Chen joined Kangxin Partners in the year 2012, passed the qualification exam of 2014 and obtained the qualification of Chinese Patent Attorney in 2015. Now she mainly focuses on the patent application, responding to the Office Action, and patent translation relating to Chemistry, Biology and Medicament.
