Mr. Shen obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Material Science and Engineering in 2005, and his Master of Engineering degree in Information Functional Materials in 2008 from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Mr. Shen has gained extensive knowledge in materials, chemistry, electronics/photoelectronics, and semiconductor during his studies. His IP training background includes completing patent practice training in China and receiving training on patent translation by RWS of U. K.

Mr. Shen joined Kangxin Partners, P.C. in 2008, and has served a variety of foreign clients on patent drafting, prosecution, re-examination, invalidation, and administrative litigation.  He is currently responsible for patent application in a wide range of industries but particularly focuses on battery, optics, semiconductor, display, and so on.  He has handled hundreds of patent cases for foreign clients, and accumulated rich experience on patent application strategy in China.

Mr. Shen also works as a lecturer on China’s Patent Law and patent practice for Kangxin Training Center and also the Intellectual Property Training Center of China.

Mr. Shen obtained the qualification of Chinese Patent Attorney in 2012, and became head of Chemistry and Biology Division of Foreign Patent Department in 2014.

Mr. Shen was invited to give presentations regarding the enforcement of patent in China and Chinese patent practice in 4th Annual BPIP (Best Practices in Intellectual Property) Conference 2016 in Tel Aviv, Israel and Patent School Skolkovo 2016 in Moscow, Russia.
