Mr. James Chen received his Bachelor of Science degree in Macromolecule & Composite Materials in 2000 and his Master of Science degree in Material Processing Engineering in 2003 at Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics. His IP background includes completing training on U.S. patent prosecution and International Trade Commission practice at CONNOLLY BOVE LODGE & HUTZ LLP in Washington D.C. and Wilmington in the U.S.A. Currently at Kangxin, Mr. Chen specializes in patent drafting, prosecution, re-examination, invalidation, administrative litigation, with a focus on macromolecule & polymer composite, material processing, mechanics, semiconductor devices & fabrication, electronics, liquid crystal driver circuits, electronic components, electrical instruments and digital processing. He also provides clients with technical advice on patent validity and search and analysis.  Mr. Chen is credited by his in-depth and comprehensive understanding of IP related laws and regulations. He is well known for his ability to analyze complicated facts and propose feasible solutions based on his abundant professional knowledge and practical experience. In 2013, he was promoted as partner and the head of foreign patent department at Kangxin.
