According to recent reports from the Shaanxi Provincial Public Security Department, since last year, public security authorities in Shaanxi have been actively advancing the “Kunlun” campaign, taking strong measures to combat crimes involving intellectual property (IP) infringement and the manufacturing and sale of counterfeit and substandard goods. A total of 144 related cases have been solved, 172 criminal suspects arrested, and 56 criminal dens or networks dismantled.
In practice, Shaanxi’s public security authorities have focused on optimizing the business environment and supporting high-quality development, with precise and targeted efforts. Over 100 police IP protection workstations have been established across the province to support enterprise innovation and development.
To ensure consumer safety and public security in key sectors, police have targeted counterfeiting and illegal sales in areas such as auto parts, gas-related products, and electrical cables. They have expanded sources of leads, intensified investigations, and worked diligently to maintain market order and create a safe consumption environment.
At the same time, to purify the cultural copyright market, authorities have focused on critical areas such as books, films, and software, and have worked closely with relevant departments to carry out specialized enforcement campaigns, collectively fostering a healthy and orderly cultural environment.
Additionally, they have targeted emerging industries and new business models—such as artificial intelligence, the digital economy, new energy, and aerospace—by strictly cracking down on crimes involving trademark infringement, patent infringement, and trade secret violations. These efforts have effectively protected innovators and supported industrial transformation and upgrading.
