On 6 March 2015, the IP protection strategies overseas seminar, co-organised by World Intellectual Property Organization (China Office) and Kangxin, was successfully held in Beijing. More than 180 representatives responsible for intellectual property management at corporations and institutions attended the seminar either in person or via network broadcast. At the beginning, Mr. Guoliang Lu, the deputy director of WIPO China Office, introduced Hague system with vivid cases and latest statistics. Having worked in Geneva as the Senior Program Specialist of the Hague Registry of WIPO from November 2010 to July 2014, Mr. Lu has extensive experience on Hague system. Then, Ms. Lucy Li, a partner at Kangxin, shared her professional knowledge of overseas application strategies. At the end of the conference, Mr. Zhengfa Wang, the chief editor of Practical Handbook of PCT, introduced the book to the attendees. The book, written by 22 authors from Kangxin, is the first practical book which provides detailed information about PCT system in China.
