From September 16 to 18, the 35th Intellectual Property Information Fair & Conference 2026 was held at East Hall 3 of Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo. The event was jointly organized by the Japan Institute for Promoting Invention and Innovation, the Japan Patent Information Organization (Japio), and Sankei Shimbun Co., Ltd. Kangxin once again participated in this major professional event in Japan’s intellectual property sector, joining IP professionals, corporate representatives, and professional organizations from Japan and around the world to exchange views on industry trends and deepen international cooperation through face-to-face communication.
As a long-established and influential professional event in Japan’s intellectual property sector, the Fair has been held for more than 40 years since its launch in 1981. Its exhibition scope has expanded from patents and utility models to a broader range of intellectual property areas, including industrial designs and trademarks, providing a platform for IP professionals from different countries and regions to communicate and exchange ideas.
Connecting Through the Fair and Sharing China IP Practices
During the event, the Kangxin team engaged in face-to-face discussions with attendees, sharing practical experience on intellectual property protection in China, global IP portfolio planning for enterprises, and cross-border IP services. The team also exchanged views with IP professionals from Japan and other countries and regions on industry trends and opportunities for international cooperation.

At the Fair, Kangxin showcased its professional service capabilities in patents, trademarks, legal services, copyright, domain names, consulting, and training, as well as the Kangxin IP Platform. Live demonstrations highlighted the platform’s one-stop intelligent services for trademark searches, trademark applications, trademark management, timestamps, and other areas. Kangxin also introduced international peers and corporate representatives to China’s intellectual property system and practices, as well as its extensive experience accumulated over the years in providing global IP services.

Deepening International Exchange and Exploring More Opportunities for Cooperation
As enterprises’ intellectual property needs in global operations continue to extend from rights acquisition and protection to management, utilization, and value realization, Japanese companies are also developing increasingly specific needs regarding rights portfolio planning, risk prevention and control, and dispute resolution in the Chinese market. Kangxin has participated in the Fair for many consecutive years. The event not only provides an important platform for maintaining close exchanges with Japan’s intellectual property community, but also enables the team to gain a deeper understanding of overseas clients’ needs through face-to-face communication, strengthen mutual understanding with industry partners from different countries and regions, and explore further opportunities for cooperation.

Going forward, Kangxin will continue to uphold its service philosophy of “Professionalism First, Clients Foremost,” deepen exchanges and cooperation with the global intellectual property community, and leverage the strengths of its professional team and global service network to provide professional and efficient intellectual property services to clients in China and abroad, helping innovations achieve more effective protection and value realization in global markets.
