On August 8, 2013, the Determination of Patent Infringement and Patent Layout Strategy Seminar which endorsed by Zhongguancun Intellectual Property Promotion Bureau is organized by Kangxin in Beijing. Huang Xianzhi, director of Zhongguancun Intellectual Property Promotion Bureau, made a speech at the seminar. More than 130 delegates who are responsible for intellectual property management at corporations and institutions attended the seminar from either on-site or via network broadcast.

Hou Zhanheng, judge from Beijing No.1 Intermediate People's Court, addressed on the determination of patent infringement and introduced several classic cases handled by the court. Mike J. Chen, partner of Kangxin, further analyzed the difficulties in the determination of patent infringement. Han Jianwei, patent attorney from Kangxin, discussed the method of clearance searches.

The Seminar ended with a Q&A session about the actual problems encountered in corporate patent practice and received a good response from the delegates.
