More than Twenty IP Protection Centers and Rapid Rights Protection Centers will be set up in 2021
date: 2021-02-19

Recently, it was learned from the China National Intellectual Property Administration that China will continue to optimize the layout of the construction of intellectual property protection centers and rapid rights protection centers, and build another twenty or so intellectual property protection centers and rapid rights protection centers within the year 2021 to make intellectual property protection more efficient and faster.

In recent years, CNIPA has continued to strengthen the construction of a rapid collaborative protection mechanism for intellectual property rights. It has now deployed more than sixty intellectual property protection centers and rapid rights protection centers across the country, providing market players with convenient, efficient, and low-cost rights protection channels.

It is reported that the Intellectual Property Protection Center provides a "one-stop" comprehensive service through a coordinated linkage approach that integrates rapid review, rapid right confirmation, and rapid right protection, which effectively solves the problems of difficulty in raising evidence, long cycle, and high cost for rights protection. The Rapid Intellectual Property Rights Protection Center is mainly aimed at areas where products are updated quickly in county-level industrial clusters and places with strong demand for design rights protection. It provides intellectual property public welfare services that integrate rapid design pre-examination, rapid determination of rights, and fast rights protection.
